To look into the eyes of a bear, and connect briefly to something so amazing;
To see the elegance of a hawk soaring in the sky;
To follow a butterfly from flower to flower;
To listen to the ocean waves;
To be in Awe of Nature.
Nature photography is one of my favorite pastimes. When I’m out in the field, I become completely involved in observing, and feel great enjoyment and appreciation.
Capturing this feeling and moment is a goal that I am continually striving to improve.
I have been using a camera since I was a child, and grew up around film photography spending hours in the darkroom. The technological advances of digital photography and home image printing have given me the opportunity to sell my images.
My photos have been displayed in Los Angeles, Australia, and at various local exhibits including the Biltmore House, and the Cradle of Forestry.
All the images are printed on archival paper or canvas with archival inks. The canvas prints are sprayed with two layers of a UV protective coating. However, all these prints should be kept out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
